The Story of JOMOHEADS

日本各地で、今から約15,000年〜約2,400年前に作られた土器や土偶がたくさん発掘されています。約1万年以上続いたといわれる縄文時代の遺跡。そこから発掘されている数々の土器、土偶。その独特な文様や造形を見たことがありますか。

Many earthenware and clay figures made between about 15,000 and 2,400 years ago have been excavated throughout Japan. The Jomon period is said to have lasted more than 10,000 years. Many earthenware vessels and clay figurines have been excavated from these sites. Have you ever seen their unique patterns and forms?

時代を超えて現代にあらわれたかっこいい土器達と現代のストリートカルチャーを融合し『縄文』と『楽しい』『かっこいい』をシェアしたいという気持ちから誕生した「JOMOHEADS」
新時代の土器フィギュアです。

“JOMOHEADS” was born from the desire to share “Jomon”, “fun” and “cool” by fusing the cool earthenware that has transcended time and appeared in the modern age with modern street culture.
“JOMOHEADS” is a new generation of earthenware figures.

JOMOHEADSは、片桐仁さんのウドンケンシュタイン、ペットボ土偶と一緒に参加しました！

2022年２月２８日〜3月4日まで、Makuakeを活用して先行販売からスタートした「JOMOHEADS」。はじめてデザフェスに出没しました。
たくさんのソフビ作家さんがブースを構えるなかにJOMOHEADSも仲間入り！
多くの方に、ご紹介することができました。yeah!

JOMOHEADS started with pre-sales through Makuake from February 28 to March 4, 2022. We appeared at the Design Festival for the first time.
JOMOHEADS joined this event where many soft vinyl artists set up their booths!
We were able to introduce our products to many people. yeah!

食べると巨大化するキノコの力により、精霊と交信することができるようになったアーティスト。山で遭難しかけているところをマタカに助けられジョモタウンの存在を知る。ジョモタウンの長老から人間と精霊の橋渡し役になることを依頼され、縄文の精霊をソフビの形で現代に甦らせている。山形県出身。がんもどきが好き。

Artist who is able to communicate with spirits through the power of mushrooms, which grow to huge size when eaten.Mataka rescues Yo★gi when he is almost lost in the mountains, and finds out about the existence of Jomotown.The head of Jomotown asked him to act as a bridge between humans and spirits, and he has been reviving Jomon spirits in the form of soft vinyl in the modern age. He is from Yamagata Prefecture. Favorite food is Ganmodoki (Simmered Deep-fried Vegetable Tofu).
